Kannada film industry’s star director Yogaraj Bhatt who is looking forward for the release of ‘Gaalipata 2’, has silently launched a new film. This time he is collaborating with actor Yashas Surya and has titled his new film as ‘Garadi’.

‘Garadi’ will be telling the story of traditional gyms of Karnataka. The film will be shot in Northern parts of Karnataka including Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal. After ‘Dhana Kayonu’, Yogaraj Bhatt is returning back to rural Karnataka with a new story.

A few months back, Yogaraj Bhatt had shared a photo along with B C Patil in the social media and announced that he will be directing a film soon. V Harikrishna and Vikas will be associating with Yogaraj Bhatt in this film. While, Yogaraj Bhatt will be scripting the film apart from directing it, others will be helping him in other departments.

Now Yogaraj Bhatt is ready with the script and will be shooting for the film soon. Last week, the title of the film was officially announced on B C Patil’s birthday and after a couple of days the film was launched.

Yashas Surya who made his debut as a hero in ‘Yuga Yugagale Sagali’ has been roped in as the hero of the film. Offlate, Yashas was reduced to doing paltry roles and now Yogaraj Bhatt is giving a big break through this film.

Apart from Yashas, B C Patil will be making a comeback to acting after four years. Patil had earlier acted in ‘Happy New Year’ produced by his daughter. Now Patil is said to be making a comeback and playing a prominent role in the film. Darshan is also said to be roped in for a cameo appearance in this film.

As of now the star cast of the film is yet to be finalised. Vikas and Yogaraj Bhatt have jointly written the screenplay for this film. V Harikrishna is the music director, while Niranjan Babu is the cameraman.
