Sandalwood actor Yash has said that that his focus is on making good movies in future and he is not thinking about breaking existing box office records.
The actor was talking during a special event held in Mumbai ahead of the ‘KGF 2’ release on the 14th of April across the globe.
When asked about how he is feeling the pressure, the actor said, ‘I don’t look at it as a pressure at all, it’s a pleasure to entertain more people. They should like the film, is what we concentrate on. Once the film is released, if the audience likes it, they will promote it more than me and the numbers will automatically come’ said Yash.
The actor said that he doesn’t think about breaking records. ‘I only think about the potential of what we have done. I am interested in making records, but don’t think breaking records. Everyone should set a new benchmark, so we can aim at bigger things in life’ said Yash.
‘KGF 2’ stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and others in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, while Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films is the producer.
