Sandalwood’s senior actor Jaggesh has won the recently concluded Rajya Sabha elections and has become a Member of Parliament. With such a responsibility on shoulders, will Jaggesh continue to act is a question on everybody’s lips?
The Bharatiya Janata Party had named actor Jaggesh and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections which were held last week. Both Jaggesh and Nirmala Sitharaman won the elections easily and have been elected as the Members of the Parliament.
Jaggesh has completed working for ‘Thotapuri 1 and 2’, ‘Raghavendra Stores’ and ‘Ranganayaka’ and is waiting for the release of the films.
Meanwhile, the actor had signed few more films this year. One among them is a film to be directed by Rohit Padaki of ‘Rathnan Prapancha’. The film was supposed to go on floors in the month of June. Jaggesh had also given a nod to act in the sequel of his film ‘Premier Padmini’ and the film was supposed to start later this year.
With Jaggesh becoming a Member of Parliament, will he continue acting in films? As of now Jaggesh has not talked anything about continuing acting or taking a break because of the responsibilities. Jaggesh after winning the elections visited Mantralaya and received the blessings of Sri Raghavendra Swami Mutt seer Sri Subhdadendra Theertha.
