The trailer of Ravichandran starrer ‘Ravi Bopanna’ has been released in a star studded event on Monday night. One question that is on everybody’s mind after seeing the trailer is what is Radhika Kumaraswamy doing in the film?

‘Ravi Bopanna’ is the remake of Malayalam hit ‘Joseph’. The film was launched in 2019 and is all set to hit the screens on the 12th of August, across Karnataka. From the beginning of the film, Ravichandran had not disclosed that Radhika Kumaraswamy is a part of the film and those who saw the trailer were in for a surprise when they saw Radhika act alongside Ravichandran in the film.

However, sources say that scenes featuring Ravichandran and Radhika are not from ‘Ravi Bopanna’, but from another film called ‘Rajendra Ponnappa’. Before the launch of ‘Ravi Bopanna’, Ravichandran had started another film called ‘Rajendra Ponnappa’. Though Ravichandran shot for many days for the film, it could not be continued for various reasons.

Sources say, After that, when Ravichandran took up ‘Ravi Bopanna’ he tweaked the story of the film to suit the taste of the audiences and incorporated some scenes of ‘Rajendra Ponnappa’ in the film. As Ravichandran, merged both ‘Rajendra Ponnappa’ and ‘Ravi Bopanna’ together, Radhika Kumaraswamy can also be seen in the film. It is being said that Radhika comes in the flashback portions of the film.

Apart from Ravichandran, Sudeep, Ramakrishna, Radhika Kumaraswamy, Kavya Shetty, Lakshman and others play prominent roles in the film. Ravichandran apart from acting and directing the film, Ravichandran has also composed the music and lyrics and has also produced the film.
