After ‘Gantumoote’ Roopa Rao is back with a new film called ‘Kenda’. This time Roopa has restricted herself to production and creative aspects of the film and has handed over the direction responsibility to her cinematographer Sahadev Kelavadi who is making his debut as a director with ‘Kenda’.
The motion poster of ‘Kenda’ was released a few days back. Now the character introduction teaser of the film has been released in the Amyukti Studios channel of YouTube.
‘Kenda’ revolves around four characters played by Sachcha, Sharath Gowda, Pranav Sridhar and B V Bharath. The recently released video revolves around these characters and characterization. The teaser has been garnering attention in social media and indicates that ‘Kenda’ is a rugged film.
Apart from the four actors, the film stars Gopalakrishna Deshapande, Vinod Ravindran and others in prominent roles. One of the highlights of the film is Ritwik Kaikini, son of renowned writer and lyricist Jayanth Kaikini has turned music composer for this film. Shreyank Nanjappa who worked for the Oscar winner ‘Elephant Whispers’ is the sound designer,
The film which revolves around the dreams, frustrations of the youth has already been completed and the film is in the post production stage. The film is jointly produced by Roopa Rao and Sahadev Kelavadi and written and directed by Sahadev Kelavadi.
