Vivek Agnihotri to bring Bhyrappa’s ‘Parva’ on screen

After ‘The Vaccine War’, director Vivek Agnihotri of ‘The Kashmir Files’ fame has announced his next. This time the director will be bringing the much-acclaimed novel of Kannada writer S L Bhyrappa on screen.

The film is based on the book ‘Parva’ which is based on ‘Mahabharata’. The novel is considered as a modern classic and is the retelling of ‘Mahabharata’ in the most natural way. The film is said to be a three part franchise and will be officially announced on Saturday.

Vivek Agnihotri is in Bangalore to watch the play ‘Parva’ directed by Prakash Belawadi. The eight-hour play is being staged in Chowdaiah Memorial Hall at 10.30 AM and Vivek is said to announce the film before the start of the play. S L Bhyrappa is all so said to be a part of the press meet.
