Actor Vinod Prabhakar son of late Tiger Prabhakar has turned producer with a new film called ‘Lankasura’. Vinod has launched a production house called Tiger Talkies and is producing the film under that banner.

‘Lankasura’ was announced two years back and was launched last year itself. Producer Muniswamy started the film and after shooting for a while, backed out of the film due to various reasons. Vinod took over the film and will be producing it under his wife Nisha’s name.

Vinod will be seen in a different look in this film. For the first time in his career, he will be seen in a bearded look in ‘Lankasura’. Besides Vinod,  ‘Loose Maada’ fame Yogi will be playing a prominent role in this film along with actress Parvathi Arun.

‘Lankasura’ is written and directed by Pramod, while Sugnan is the cinematographer. Vijeyth Krishna is the music director.

The shooting of the film is almost done and is expected to complete soon.
