Vinod Prabhakar recently completed the shooting of his forthcoming film ‘Lankasura’ and is looking forward for the release of the film. Meanwhile, his new movie has been launched on Monday at the Bande Mahakali Temple in Bangalore.

The new film is being titled as ‘Maadeva’ and is being written and directed by Naveen Reddy, who had earlier directed Chiranjeevi Sarja’s ‘Khaki’, which was released a couple of years back.

As the title and the poster itself suggests, the film is a mass entertainer with lot of emotional moments in it. The director has not divulged any details about the film, but says this will be a different film in Vinod Prabhakar’s career.

Apart from Vinod Prabhakar, Shruthi, Cockroach Sudhi and Achyuth Kumar play prominent roles in the film. The film is being produced by Gayathri R Halale is the producer, while Pradyottan is the music composer. The heroine and the villain is yet to be finalised.

Meanwhile, the shooting for the film starts July end.
