Actress Vedhika has been roped in as Prajwal Devaraj’s heroine in his forthcoming film ‘Gana’ being directed by Hariprasad Jakka.

‘Gana’ was launched on December 24^th in a simple ceremony in Bangalore. The actual shooting for the film will start from the first week of February.

Vedhika was last seen in Upendra’s ‘Home Minister’ which is yet to be released. The film is in the cans for the last two years and is yet to see the light of the day. Before that, Vedhika had acted in films like Shivarajkumar’s ‘Shivalinga’ and Ganesh’s Sangama.

‘Gana’ is the short name for Ganesh and Prajwal will be seen in the titular role of the film. Apart from Prajwal and Vedhika, actress Archana Kottige will also be seen in a prominent role in the film.

Hariprasad Jakka who had earlier made his directorial debut with Telugu film ‘Darshakudu’ has written the story and screenplay of the film apart from directing it. ‘Gana’ is produced by Parthu under Cherry Creations.

Anoop Seelin is the music director, while Jai Anand is the cinematographer.
