The release date of Ajith’s most anticipated film ‘Valimai’ has finally been announced. The film is all set to release in four languages on the 24th of February.
Earlier, ‘Valimai’ was supposed to release on Sankranthi this year. It was supposed to be the only star film to release from Tamil on the occasion of Pongal. However, the film got postponed because of the rise in Corona cases across Tamil Nadu. There were speculations in recent times that the film might get pushed to 24th Feb. However, there was no confirmation from the team regarding the release date.
Producer Boney Kapoor himself took to social media on Wednesday and the film will be arriving on the 24th of February. ‘Action speaks louder than words. The wait is well and truly over. Feel the power on 24th Feb in cinemas worldwide’ wrote the producer.
‘Valimai’ is the second collaboration of Ajjith and H Vinoth after ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ which is a remake of Bollywood hit ‘Pink’. Bollywood’s famous producer Boney Kapoor who was one of the producers of ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ is producing this film jointly with Zee Studios.
The film stars Ajith along with Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya Gummakonda, Sumithra, Yogi Babu, Achyuth Kumar and others in prominent roles. Nirav Shah is in charge of cinematography, while Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer.
The film was first said to be released in only Tamil. Now the film has been dubbed to Telugu, Kannada and Hindi and will be releasing in all the four languages simultaneously.
