One of the major reasons for the success of ‘Duniya’ Vijay starrer ‘Salaga’ is the song ‘Tininga Mininga Tishya’ sung by the Siddi Sisters. After ‘Salaga’, the sisters are back with a new song from Priyanka Upendra starrer ‘Ugravathara’.

Girija and Geetha Siddi have been singing for a while, but it was ‘Duniya’ Vijay who introduced them to the world of cinema. The sisters sang ‘Tininga Mininga Tishya’ for ‘Salaga’ which became very popular. As it was a promotional song and was shot only for promotional purposes, the song was not included in the film. But due to public demand, the song was released in the second half on the 25^th day of the film’s release.

After ‘Salaga’, the Siddi sisters did not sing in any film and now the makers of ‘Ugravathara’ have roped them to sing a popular number for the film. The duo has sung a song called ‘Ayyo Majodeva’ and the song was recently recorded in Bangalore. Priyanka Upendra was also present during the song recording. The song has been composed by Radhakrishna Basrur.

‘Ugravathara’ is almost complete except for a song, which the team intends to shoot soon. The film stars Priyanka Upendra in a never seen before avatar. Priyanka plays the role of fierce inspector who fights against all the odds in the system. Suman, Pavithra Lokesh and others play prominent roles in the film.
