The shooting for Yogaraj Bhatt’s new film ‘Garadi’ which was launched last month is all set to start soon. Meanwhile, actress Rachita Ram has been roped in as the heroine of the film.

Recently, Rachita Ram along with Yogaraj Bhatt met the film’s producer and Karnataka’s Agriculture Minister B C Patil at his residence in Bangalore. There was a buzz that Rachita Ram might be roped in as the heroine of the film. The news has indeed come true and the team of ‘Garadi’ has welcomed the actress on board through social media.

Rachita Ram will be playing the female lead opposite Yashas Surya. Yashas Surya made his debut as a hero in ‘Yuga Yugagale Sagali’ and went onto act in some films. Off late, he was seen in not much prominent roles and now Yogaraj Bhatt is giving a big break through this film. ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan along with B C Patil will also be seen playing prominent roles in the film.

‘Garadi’ will be telling the story of traditional gyms of Karnataka. The film will be shot in Northern parts of Karnataka including Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal. After ‘Dhana Kayonu’, Yogaraj Bhatt is returning back to rural Karnataka with a new story.

Vikas and Yogaraj Bhatt have jointly written the screenplay for this film. V Harikrishna is the music director, while Niranjan Babu is the cameraman.
