Tamil actor Suriya has produced many films in Kollywood. For the very first time, the actor has forayed into production in Bollywood with the Hindi remake of his hit film ‘Soorarai Potru’. The film which stars Akshay Kumar was launched on Monday.

‘Soorarai Pottru’ which is based on the life of Captain Gopinath was released in Amazon Prime last year and the film went on to receive much acclaim. The film was directed by Sudha Kongara and now Suriya will be producing the Hindi version with Sudha helming the project once again.

While Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of Suriya, Radhika Madan plays the female lead in the film. The team is searching for a suitable title for the film and Akshay Kumar has requested his fans that in case they have any title suggestions, they can share it with the team.
