Sandalwood actors Srinagara Kitty and Deepak of ‘Shishya’ fame have jointly released Prithvi Amber starrer ‘Sugarless’ trailer in a special event in Bangalore.

‘Sugarless’ marks the directorial debut of ‘D/O Parvathamma’ and ‘Veeram’ producer K M Shashidhar. The film was launched after the first lockdown and tells the story of a young sugar patient and the various problems he faces from diabetes. This is said in a humourous way.

K M Shashidhar says this is the first of its kind in Indian cinema. ‘Till now, nobody had made a film based on diabetes. This is a 100 percent entertainer. Every house has BP and Diabetes patients. A survey says there are 40 lakhs of diabetic patients in Bangalore alone. We are not making people fear about the disease, but is creating awareness about Diabetes’ says Shashidhar.

Prithvi Amber this film has a right mixture of comedy, romance and emotions. ‘No one had dared to do a film based on diabetes. When Shashidhar narrated the script of the film over the film, I was really impressed and immediately gave a nod to be a part of this film. The film has a very good star cast and I am blessed to act with many senior artists in this film’ says Prithvi.

‘Sugarless’ stars Prithvi Amber along with Priyanka Thimmesh, Dattanna, Dharmanna, Padmaja Rao, Raghu Ramanakoppa and others in prominent roles. Anoop Seelin is the music composer, while Lavith is the cameraman.

The film is all set to be released on the 08^th of July across Karnataka.
