Sandalwood actor Sudeep on Friday evening released the teaser of Akhil Akkineni’s Spy thriller ‘Agent’. The actor termed the teaser not only super stylish, but also has said that it is a visual treat.

‘Agent’ is an upcoming Telugu Spy thriller directed bu Surender Reddy of ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ fame. After ‘Sye Raa’, Surender Reddy was roped in to direct ‘Agent’ and the film was launched in July last year. The film was said to release by last year end. However, due to various reasons, the release has been delayed for two times and a fresh date is yet to be announced soon.

Meanwhile, the first teaser of the film was released by Sudeep and Sivakarthikeyan recently. Sudeep said he is happy to present the trailer of his all time favourites Akhil and Surender Reddy. The film has Akhil play a rogue agent for the first time in his career. The teaser is all about the Indian Government giving a task to Mahadev, the head of the National Security Council to capture a rogue agent known to be ruthless and unpredictable.

‘Agent’ stars Akhil, Mammootty and Sakshi Vaidya in prominent roles. The film has story by Vakkantham Vamshi and the film is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara. The film is likely to be released as a PAN Indian film after being dubbed to Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
