Srimurali’s new film ‘Bagheera’ to be directed by Dr Suri was launched in Bangalore on Friday. The launch was attended by cast and crew of the film.
Srimurali’s last film was ‘Madagaja’, which was released in December last year. ‘Bhageera’ was announced on Srimurali’s birthday last year itself and the film was said to start only after the release of ‘Madagaja’.
After ‘Madagaja’, Srimurali got busy working out on his body. Now that the preparations are complete, the film has been launched and the shooting for the film will start soon.
The launch was held at the Panchamukhi Ganapathi Temple in Mahalaxmi Layout. Manjuunath, brother of producer Vijay Kiragandoor of Hombale Films sounded the clap for the first shot, while Director Suri’s mother Saroja switched on the camera. Prashanth Neel who has written the story for the film was also present on the occasion.
‘Bagheera’ is Dr Suri’s second film as a director. Earlier, Dr Suri had directed Yash starrer ‘Lucky’. He had also produced a couple of films. Now Dr Suri is back to direction after a long gap and has also written the screenplay. Apart from Srimurali, Rangayana Raghu and Achyuth Kumar are also a part of the star cast.
The film has music by Ajaneesh Lokanath and cinematography by A J Shetty.
