The team of National Award winning ‘Soorarai Pottru’ comes together for a film to be produced by Suriya’s own production house, 2D Entertainment.
The film will be directed by Sudha Kongara, who directed the critically acclaimed ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and the film marks the 43rd film of Suriya as an actor. Another highlight of the film is the film is G V Prakash Kumar’s 100th film as music director.
‘Soorarai Pottru’ holds a significant position in actor Suriya’s career. The film was not only critically acclaimed but also swept that year’s National Awards winning awards for Best Actor, Best Background Score, Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Screenplay. Now the same team will be once again working for the film.
The upcoming film, which is tentatively being referred to as #Suriya43, is to be produced by Jyotika, Suriya and Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian. The film also stars Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Fahadh and Vijay Varma apart from Suriya.
The film will be going on floors soon and more details about the cast and the crew are yet awaited.
