Shwetha Srivatsav ‘Hope’s to return back on July 08th

Shwetha Srivatsav was last seen in ‘Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu’ which was released in 2016. Now after a gap of six years, the actress is all set to make a comeback with a new film called ‘Hope’ which is all set to hit the screens on the 08th of July.

‘Hope’ is a political thriller and Shwetha Srivatsav plays the role of a KAS officer for the first time in her career. The film was launched in 2020 right after the first wave of Corona and is now ready for release.

Speaking about her role in the film, ‘I play a KAS officer who has to juggle between her personal life and also her professional life. It’s about how she navigates through the political setup upholding her values and principles while dealing in a generally male-dominated society’ says Shwetha.

‘Hope’ is being produced by acclaimed Billiards player Varshaa Sanjeev under Goldie Productions banner. Varsha has also written the story apart from producing the film. Debutante Ambarisha M has written the screenplay apart from directing it.

The film boasts of an ensemble star cast including Shwetha Srivatsav, Sumalatha Ambarish, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Belawadi, Gopalakrishna Deshapande amongst others. The teaser of the film has already been released and the trailer is expected to release soon.

S Halesh is the cinematographer, while Ritvik Muralidhar is in charge of music.

Apart from ‘Hope’, Shwetha has also acted in Jaggesh starrer ‘Raghavendra Stores’ and ‘Chikkiya Muguthi’.
