Dhananjay who has completed all his prior commitments has started shooting for ‘Hoysala’. The film marks Dhananjay’s 25th film as an actor and features him in a rough and tough police officer.
If everything had gone right, then ‘Hoysala’ must have started by now. The film was launched by the team in Kanteerava Studios a couple of months ago. However, the shooting was not started as Dhananjay was busy with the post-production of ‘Head Bush’ and promotions of ‘Bhairagee’. Now that all the commitments are almost complete, Dhananjay is ready for ‘Hoysala’.
The actor was recently seen in a new look on a couple of film events held. The actor has shaved off his beard, trimmed his hair as he is playing the role of a police officer in the film. The shooting has started and the film will be released early next year.

As for as this year is concerned, ’21 Hours’ and ‘Bhairagee’ have already been released. Apart from these two, four more films of Dhananjay including ‘Monsoon Raga’, ‘Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda’, ‘Thotapuri’ and ‘Head Bush’ will be hitting the screens in this year.
‘Hoysala’ is a cop thriller set in the border district of Belgaum. Dhananjay plays a cop and the film is said to be based on some real incidents. Amrutha Iyengar is pairing up with Dhananjay for the third time after ‘Popcorn Monkey Tiger’ and ‘Badava Rascal’. The film produced by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj under KRG Studios, while Vijay Nagendra is the director.
