‘Sandalwood King’ Shivarajkumar says he doesn’t like the idea of statutes and that is the reason why he didn’t attend the recently held statue inauguration ceremony of Puneeth Rajkumar in Hospet.
Speaking to few media persons during the press conference of his latest film ‘Bhairagee’ which is all set to release on the 01st of July, the senior actor said Puneeth’s life must be celebrated and not his statutes.
‘It’s been nearly eight months since Puneeth left us all. I don’t believe he is no more. I believe that he is still around us. We must not say we miss you, instead we must say we love you. I don’t like the idea of statutes. By making statutes, we are keeping him away from us’ says Shivarajkumar.
The ‘Century Star’ says Puneeth will come back one day in other form. ‘Puneeth projected positive energy wherever he went. I am in the hope that he will come back one day. Instead of making his statutes, we must celebrate his lives. Fans might get agitated by my words, but I don’t like the idea of statutes’ said Shivarajkumar.
