RJ Srini who is riding on the success of his latest film ‘Old Monk’ is all set to direct Shivarajkumar in a new film. The film was officially announced on Friday and has been titled as ‘Ghost’.

‘Ghost’ is an action thriller, set in a jail. There won’t be any heroine in this film and the film revolves around only few characters. Shivarajkumar is said to be very much excited about the story and has given his nod to act in the film. This is Srini’s fifth film as a director and he will be only directing the film unlike his last three films, where he was the hero also.

It all happened in a jiffy says M G Srinivas alias RJ Srini. ‘Recently, I happened to meet producer Sandesh Nagaraj, who in turn fixed a meeting with Shivarajkumar. I narrated the story to him and he was very much excited about the plot. He also liked the title and accepted to be a part of the film. The script is almost ready and we are planning to go on floors once Shivanna completes his other films’ says Srini.

Sandesh Nagaraj had earlier announced that he will be producing a film for Shivarajkumar and the film will be directed by Chi. Gurudutt. It has not been confirmed that the film has been shelved or not, but Sandesh Nagaraj is going ahead with another project featuring Shivarajkumar, but with a different director.

The technical crew as well as the cast is yet to be announced in the coming days.
