Actor-director Ramesh Aravind is celebrating his birthday today. Meanwhile, the first look poster of his new film ‘Shivaji Suratkal – The Mysterious case of Maayavi’ has been released on Friday.

Even before the release of ‘Shivaji Suratkal – Ranagiri Rahasya’ the team had announced that a sequel is on the anvil and will be announced officially after the first part hit the screens. The film was a huge success, but due to corona and lockdown, the film got delayed. Director Akash Srivatsa had earlier this year said that he is busy with the scripting and will be announcing the film soon. However, due to the second lockdown the film got delayed further and now the film has been officially announced on Ramesh’s birthday.

‘Shivaji Suratkal – The Mysterious case of Maayavi’ is the sequel to ‘Shivaji Suratkal – Ranagiri Rahasya’. Ramesh Aravind, Radhika Narayan, Raghu Ramanakoppa and Vidya Murthy will be continuing in this film along with some new characters and another mysterious case. Akash says the film will be in three different timelines and will be more mysterious and witty compared to the first part.

Anup Gowda and Rekha who had produced the first part will be producing this film also. The shooting for the film will start from the first week of October. Meanwhile, ‘Shivaji Suratkal – Ranagiri Rahasya’ has been dubbed in Telugu and will be remade in Hindi.
