Ramesh Aravind’s new film ‘Shivaji Suratkal – The Mysterious case of Maayavi’ was launched in Bangalore on Thursday morning.

‘Shivaji Suratkal – The Mysterious case of Maayavi’ is the sequel of ‘Shivaji Suratkal – Ranagiri Rahasya’ released last year. The team had planned to announce a sequel officially after the first part hit the screens. However, the film got delayed due to lockdown and other reasons and was announced on Ramesh’s birthday this year.

Now the film has been officially launched and the shooting will start from December. The team intends to complete the shooting in a two month schedule In Bangalore, Suratkal, Mangalore and other places.

Ramesh Aravind, Radhika Narayan, Raghu Ramanakoppa and Vidya Murthy who played prominent roles in the original will be continuing here also. Meghana Gaonkar, Rakesh Mayya and Vinayak Joshi will be seen in major roles in this film.

Anup Gowda and Rekha who had produced the first part will be producing this film. Akash Srivatsa has written and directed the film. Nakul Abhayankar will be composing the music for the film.
