The posters of Rishi Kapoor’s last film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ was released on the birth anniversary of the late actor on the 04^th of September. To mark the occasion, Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Excel Entertainment, which have produced the film have shared the first posters of his final film.

The team has not only released the posters of Rishi Kapoor, but also the poster of Paresh Rawal who has continued Rishi Kapoor’s character after his death. ‘A big thank you to Mr Paresh Rawal who completed the film by agreeing to take the sensitive step of portraying the same character played by Rishiji’ says a release by Excel Entertainment.

The shooting for ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ was launched early last year. Rishi Kapoor participated in the shooting along with Juhi Chawla and others. But due to his untimely death, there were speculations that the film might get shelved. However, Paresh Rawal continued Rishi Kapoor’s role and the film were completed.

The film was earlier scheduled to release on the 04^th of September. However, due to the pandemic the film has been postponed and the posters of the film have been released.

‘Sharmaji Namkeen’s is written and directed by Hitesh Bhatia. The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Juhi Chawla, Sathish Kaushik, Parmeet Sethi and others in prominent roles.
