With ‘Avatar Purusha’ getting ready for release and ‘Guru Shishyaru’ almost nearing completion, Sharan had already started the shooting of his new film with Navaneeth. Now the film is said to be titled as ‘Choomantra’.

‘Choomantra’ is a horror comedy being written and directed by Navneeth of ‘Karva’ and ‘Bakasrua’ fame. Like his previous two films, Navaneeth is directing a thriller with comedy and horror elements in it.

The film is being produced by Tharun Shivappa and the shooting is in progress. The team is said to have erected a set in Bangalore and the shooting is currently being held.

Apart from Sharan, Chikkanna is playing a prominent role in the film. Chikkanna has been a popular sidekick to Sharan in films like ‘Rambo 2’, ‘Raj-Vishnu’, ‘Adhyaksha’ and others. The two have been acting together after a small gap.

Aditi Prabhudeva was already roped in as the heroine. Now Meghana Gaonkar is also said to be playing a prominent role in the film.
