Darshan had already announced that he has allotted dates to producer Shailaja Nag during the success meet off ‘Yajamana’ itself. If everything had gone right, then the film should have been started by now. Due to Corona and the lockdown, the film has been put on hold. Now Shailaja Nag has finally announced that she will be producing Darshan’s 55^th film which is all set to be launched early next year.

Shailaja Nag too to Twitter on Wednesday that she will be producing D55. Harikrishna who was one of the co-directors of ‘Yajamana’ will be handling this project independently. Though not many details have been divulged, the pre-production of the film has already started and the film will be launched sometime next year, once Darshan completes his prior commitments.

Darshan’s last film was ‘Robert’ which was released earlier this year. The film was a huge success at the box-office and after that Darshan had allotted dates for producer Rockline Venkatesh. Darshan and Rockline were supposed to do a historical film called ‘Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka’. However, the film has been put on hold as it demands not only big budget but also a lot of time. So, the film has been postponed to a further date and Darshan will be acting in another film called ‘Gold Ring’ produced by Rockline Productions. As of now, Darshan will completed ‘Gold Ring’ first followed by D55.
