Sandalwood director Santhosh Kodenkeri sets a new record for directing a feature film with maximum character enactment. The record has been acknowledged by the India Book of Records recently.

Santhosh’s new directorial ‘Ondanondu Kaladalli Obba Raja idda’ which is based on the story ‘Once There Was a King’ by Rabindranath Tagore, is 116 minutes and 39 seconds long and has Yogesh Master playing 24 different characters. The film has received many National and International awards including Best Experimental Film Award.

The film is a theatrical narration with celluloid techniques extracted from ‘Ekavyakthi Pradarshanagalu’ by Yogesh Master. He himself has written the lyrics and dialogues apart from composing music for the film. Jeevan Gowda is the cinematographer.

Santhosh Kodenkeri has produced the film under his Drusti Productions.
