Sandalwood’s hit director Santhosh Anandaram is currently busy with ‘Raghavendra Stores’ starring Jaggesh. Meanwhile, there is news that the acclaimed director might direct Shivarajkumar in a new film called ‘Ranaranga’.

Shivarajkumar is always open working with young directors and the actor had expressed acting under Santhosh Anandaram’s direction after ‘Raajkumara’. However, both of them were busy with their prior commitments.

Now for the past few days, there is a news doing rounds in Sandalwood that Shivarajkumar and Santhosh might join hands for a new film to be titled as ‘Ranaranga’ or ‘Matte Ranaranga’. There is no confirmation from both the parties so far.

‘Ranaranga’ is one of Shivarajkumar’s earliest and successful films. The film was released in 1988 and was directed by V Somashekhar. The film is famous for its action sequences and songs. Now Santhosh is also said to be planning an action film with Shivarajkumar and has titled the film as ‘Ranaranga’.

Vijay Kumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films who had produced ‘Raajkumara’, ‘Yuvaratna’ and ‘Raghavendra Stores’ directed by Santhosh is said to be producing this film also.
