The fans of ‘KGF 2’ have been requesting the team for an update about film for a while. The fans had requested the team to at least release a new poster or teaser of Sanjay Dutt on his birthday on the 29^th of July. The makers have obliged to the fans request and have wished the actor by releasing a new poster of his on Thursday through social media.

Sanjay Dutt is shown with heavy armour on his body and a sword in his hand. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Adheera the antagonist in the film. While, ‘KGF 1’ showcased the fight between Rocky and Garuda, the sequel will have Rocky and Adheera battling against each other.

The Munna Bhai actor has thanked one and all for the birthday wishes. ‘Thank you so much everyone for all the warm birthday wishes. Working on ‘KGF -2’ has been amazing. I know all of you have been waiting for the film’s release for a long time and I assure you that it will be worth the wait!’ he wrote. ‘KGF2’ was supposed to release on the 16^th of July. However, due to the fear of the pandemic, the film has been postponed and the film is likely to be released at the end of the year. ‘KGF 2’ is being scripted and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films. ‘KGF 2’ stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and others in prominent roles.
