MTV Roadies fame Samyutha Hegde has replaced actress Ragini in a special song in Shreyas Manju starrer ‘Raana’. The shooting for the special song will start soon.

The shooting for ‘Raana’ is almost complete except for a song sequence. Earlier, the team had roped in Ragini to be a part of special number to be choreographed by Imran Sardaryiya. Ragini had also started rehearsing for the song. However, the sets erected for the song got damaged because of heavy rains in Bangalore. Now the shooting has been pushed further and Ragini could not accommodate dates for the song because of her prior commitments.

With Ragini out of the radar, the team opted for another heroine and Samyuktha Hegde has been finalised to be a part of the song featuring Shreyas Manju. Samyuktha made her debut through Rakshit Shetty’s ‘Kirik Party’. She was also a part of MTV Roadies, Big Boss Kannada and MTV Splitsvilla, where she ended up as the first runner up in 2018.

‘Raana’ is being directed by Nandakishore of ‘Pogaru’ fame and produced by Gujjal Purushottam under Gujjal Pictures. This is Shreyas’s third film after ‘Paddehuli’ and ‘Vishnu Priya’. Reeshma Naaniah of ‘Ek Love Ya’ fame is the heroine. Chandan Shetty has composed the music for this action thriller, while Shekhar Chandru is the cinematographer.
