Samantha who has recently completed shooting for a special song in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ has started shooting for her new film called ‘Yashoda’ which was launched recently.

The new movie is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies and is being directed by Hari and Harish. The film which is a contemporary thriller is made in Telugu and will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

This is Samamntha’s second film after her divorce with Naga Chaitanya. The actress had given green signal to act in a film to be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and the film was officially announced on the Vijayadashami festival. The film will be simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil. Apart from these two films, Samantha has completed ‘Shaakuntalam’ directed by Gunashekhar and is waiting for the release of the film.
