In a surprising movie, the makers of ‘RRR’ have announced two new release dates. If the pandemic situation in the country gets better and all theaters open up to operate at full capacity, the film will release on the 18th of March. If not, the film will release on the 28th of April.
S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ starring Junior NTR and Ramcharan Teja which was supposed to release on the 07th of January. However, due to the Corona third wave, the film was postponed indefinitely. The team had earlier said that it will be announcing the new release date soon. According to that, not one but two different dates have been announced this time.
The real reason behind this strategy is, ‘KGF 2’ has struck to its original release date of April 14th. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya has been announced on April 01st, which means it is difficult for ‘RRR’ to make an entry to theaters once everything eases down. But the makers are not in a mood to wait further as the film has been delayed for a long. So, the two release date strategy has been announced.
As said earlier, if everything comes to normalcy by March, then ‘RRR’ would be the first biggie or PAN Indian film to hit the screens. But if the scenario is not good, then the film would release on the 28th of April, by which everything would have come to normalcy.
The film stars Junior NTR and Ramcharan Teja along with Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Samudrakani and others. S S Rajamouli has scripted the film based on the story of his father Vijayendra Prasad. The film will be simultaneously releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.
