Sandalwood actor Rishi is back with a new film called ‘Nodi Swamy Ivanu Irode Heege’ (NSIIH), wherein he fights depression. The teaser of the film was released recently.

Rishi was last seen in ‘Sarvajanikarige Suvarnavakasha’ which was released in 2019. Though he had signed films like ‘Seere’, ‘Ramana Avatara’ and ‘Sakala Kala Vallabha’, the films are not in news for various reasons.

Meanwhile, Rishi had signed ‘NSIIH’ for which the shooting is already complete. Recently, the team released a teaser of the film. This is a black-comedy which explores issues like heart-break, depression and suicide.

‘NSIIH’ tells the story of SaiKumar who is a victim of his own imagination. Post break-up with his girlfriend, his life goes downhill and pushes him into depression. How does the hero fight back depression forms the crux of the film.

The film stars Rishi along with Dhanya Balakrishna, Greeshma Sridhar, Apoorva Bharadwaj, Bhavani Prakash, Nagabhushan and others in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Islahuddin NS.

‘NSIIH’ is produced by Amrej Suryavanshi who had earlier produced Rishi’s debut film ‘Operation Alamelamma’. Vishnu Prasad and Dulip Kumar are the cinematographers, while Prasanna Sivaraman is the music director.
