It’s been quite some time since actress directed a film. After the National Award winning ‘Mitr, My Friend’ and ‘Phir Milenge’ the senior actress had directed only one segment in ‘Kerala Café’ and ‘Mumbai Calling’. After a gap of 11 years, Revathi is back to direction once again with a new film called ‘The Last Hurrah’.

One of the highlight of the film is Revathi will be directing Kajol in this flick. Kajol herself disclosed that she will be acting in a new film to be directed by Revathi. Kajol took to social media to break this news recently.

‘So happy to announce my next film with the super awesome Revathi directing me called ‘The Last Hurrah’. A heartwarming story that made me instantly say an Yes! Can I hear a Yippeee Please’ wrote Kajol. ‘The Last Hurrah’ is said to be a film based on a true story. The film which is being produced by Suraj Singh and Shraddha Agrawal is expected to go on floors soon. The film which is currently in pre-production stage is written by Sameera Arora.
