The release date of Dhananjay starrer ‘Once Upon A Time in Jamaligudda’ is finally out. The makers have decided to release the film across Karnataka on the 09^th of September.

‘Once Upon A Time in Jamaligudda’ was launched last year. The shooting for the film was completed recently and the team has officially announced that the film will be releasing in the second week of September.

The film is a periodic romantic thriller set in the 1980s. The film is being directed by Kushal Gowda, who had earlier made his debut with ‘Kannadakkagi Ondannu Otti’. The film is set in a fictional place called ‘Jamaligudda’. Kushal himself has written the story and screenplay of the film apart from directing it.

Aditi has paired up with Dhananjay in this film. Though the two had acted in Vijay Prasad’s Thotapuri earlier, this is the first time they are acting as a pair.

Apart from Dhananjay and Aditi Prabhudeva the film stars Prakash Belawadi, Yash Shetty, Bhavana Ramanna and Triveni Rao in prominent roles.

Other than ‘Once Upon A Time in Jamaligudda’, Dhananjay starrer ‘Bhairagee’, ‘Monsoon Raga’, ‘Thotapuri’ are also ready for release and will be releasing in the next few months.

‘Once Upon A Time in Jamaligudda’ is being produced by Srihari under Niharika Movies. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while Karthik is the cinematographer.
