Ravishankar returns back to direction with son’s debut film

‘Armuga’ Ravishankar apart from acting is also an accomplished singer and a voice over artist. He has also tried his hands in direction with Malashree starrer ‘Durgi’. After 20 years of the film’s release, Ravishankar is back to direction with a new film called ‘Subramanya’.

This time Ravishankar is introducing his son Advay as a lead hero in the film. Advay has been learning all aspects about acting in the past few years and is now ready to face the camera. Ravishankar himself has taken the responsibility of introducing his son to cinema.

This is the third generation from his family in the world of cinema. Ravishankar’s father P Sharma was a well-known actor and dubbing artist. Ravishankar’s brothers Saikumar and Ayyappa Sharma needs no introduction. Now with Advay, the third generation of the Sharmas is foraying into the field of cinema.

The title poster and the first look of ‘Subramanya’ was revealed on the auspicious day of Ayudha Pooja. The film is said to action adventure with Advay seen in the title role of ‘Subramanya’.

‘Subramanya’ is being produced by Thirumala Reddy and Anil Kadiyala under S G Movie Makers. Ravi Thota of ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame is the cinematographer, while Ravi Basrur is the music composer. Masthi Manju has written the dialogues for the film. The rest of the cast and crew including the heroine is yet to be announced.

‘Subramanya’ is a pan Indian film to be made in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages. The shooting for the film starts in December.
