Actor-director Ravichandran has said that Kannada film industry is full of dreamers today and everyone has to come together and make good films.
Ravichandran was speaking during the special event of ‘Vikrant Rona’ organized in Bangalore on Wednesday afternoon.
‘When I made ‘Prema Loka’, my father was very much proud of my films and was in tears. Now I am in a father’s position and Sudeep is my son. I have challenged my sons to make me proud just like my father by making good films’ said Ravichandran.
The actor-director who was in full awe of the trailer of the film, ‘the trailer of ‘Vikrant Rona’ takes us to a different world. The trailer is technically sound. If the film is good, then it would reach to the rest of the world. Earlier, everybody used to call me a dreamer. Now there are a lot of dreamers in Sandalwood. We have to come together and make good films. There was a situation that people were not coming to theaters. Now we don’t have enough theaters to screen films’ said Ravichandran.
The event was attended by Shivarajkumar, Ramesh Aravind, Rakshit Shetty, Rishab Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandes and others.
‘Vikrant Rona’ stars Sudeep, Jacqueline Fernandes, Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, Ravishankar Gowda and others in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Anup Bhandari.
