The cast of Dhananjay’s new film ‘Head Bush’ is getting bigger day by day. Earlier, it was said that Yogi of ‘Loose Maada’ fame had joined the star cast of this underworld film. Later, Vasishta Simha, Shruthi Hariharan, Raghu Mukherjee were said to be playing prominent roles in the film. Now, actor- director V Ravichandran has been roped in to play a major role in this film.
V Ravichandran has announced officially that he will be playing the role of a professor in this gangster drama. Writer Agni Sridhar and Dhananjay wanted Ravichandran to play the particular role and approached the actor.
Ravichandran who has recently completed ‘Drishya 2’ and is looking forward for more films found the film exciting and gave his not to be a part of this film. The shooting for the film has already begun from last month and Ravichandran will be joining the sets soon.
‘Head Bush’ is a periodic thriller set in the 1980s. The film is about Bangalore’s former don M P Jayaraj and Dhananjay is seen in the role of Jayaraj. The first look teaser of the film was released on the occasion of Dhananjay’s birthday on the 23rd of August.
The film has been scripted by Agni Sridhar and is being directed by debutante Shoonya. Dhananjay is the heroine. Charan Raj is the music composer, while Sunoj Velayudhan is the cinematographer. ‘Head Bush’ is a PAN Indian film and will be released in six languages.
