Sandalwood actress Rashmika Mandanna is on cloud nine these days. Rashmika was recently roped in as the female lead in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’. Now Rashmika has been cast opposite Vijay in ‘Thalapathy 66’.
There was news that Rashmika might be roped in as the heroine for Vijay’s film. However, the team was tightlipped about the inclusion of Rashmika . On Tuesday, the team finally announced Rashmika as the heroine and welcomed her on board. It was a long pending dream of Rashmika to act with Vijay and her dream has finally been fulfilled with ‘Thalapathy 66’.
Rashmika celebrated her birthday on Tuesday and Sri Venkateshwara Creations headed by Dil Raju welcomed her on board through social media for ‘Thalapathy 66’. Rashmika has said that she can’t believe this is happening and is so kicked about the film.
Dil Raju had announced last year that Sri Venkateshwara Creations will be venturing into Tamil by producing a new film starring Vijay and it will be directed by Vamshi. As Vijay was busy with ‘Beast’, the production company had not divulged many details. Now ‘Beast’ is ready and will be releasing on the 13th of April across the globe. After the release of the film, the shooting for ‘Thalapathy 66’ will start.
