Sandalwood actress Rashmika Mandanna has shared some good news for her fans on this Ugadi. The actress has announced her next project and this time she will be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in his forthcoming film ‘Animal’.

Earlier, Parineeti Chopra was said to play the female lead in this film. Due to various reasons, Rashmika Mandanna has replaced her and will be play a major role in this film to be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame. Rashmika Mandanna will be essaying the role of Geethanjali in this film.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga welcomed Rashmika on board on Saturday through social media. Replying to Vanga, Rashmika has said that ‘The Good Day Comes With Good News’.

Rashmika Mandanna made her debut in Bollywood with ‘Mission Majnu’ last year. She is cast opposite Siddarth Malhotra in the film, followed by another film with Amitabh Bachchan called ‘Good Bye’. Even before the release of these two films, Rashmika has bagged her third film in Bollywood and that too with none other Ranbir Kapoor.

‘Animal’ stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and others in prominent roles. The film which is releasing on the 11^th of August 2023 is jointly produced by T-Series, Cine1 Studios and Bhadrakali Pictures.
