‘Challenging Star’ Darshan’s new film D56 has been officially launched today morning. Meanwhile, Ramu-Malashree’s daughter Radhana Ram is all set to make her debut with this film.

Darshan’s D56 which has been tentatively titled as ‘Kaatera’ was launched today morning in Ravishankar Guruji Ashram in Kanakapura Road.

There were reports that Ramu and Malashree’s daughter Ananya would make an entry to Sandalwood soon and Malashree was looking for a suitable project for the launch film of her daughter. Ananya has selected D56 as her launch vehicle. Ananya has changed her name as Radhana Ram and will be making her debut in the film.

‘Kaatera’ is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh. Tharun Sudhir is directing the film apart from directing it. This will be Darshan and Tharun’s third film together after ‘Chowka’ and ‘Robert’.

The first theme poster of the film was launched during Darshan’s birthday earlier this year. The theme poster showcases a guard dog leading a flock of sheep. Though nothing much has been revealed about the film, the poster subtly tells that Darshan plays a savior who protects the downtrodden.
