Producer Ramesh Reddy in a career spanning five years has finally tasted success with Ganesh starrer ‘Gaalipata’. Not only success, the producer has made a profit from the film also.

‘Gaalipata 2’ is the fifth film of Ramesh Reddy as producer. Ramesh Reddy ventured into production with Imran Sardariya directorial ‘Uppu Huli Khaara’. The film was not only a failure, but had to face a lot of controversies due to various reasons. After that Reddy produced Shreyas Manju’s debut film ‘Paddehuli’ followed by Mansore’s ‘Naaticharaami’ and Ramesh Aravind’s ‘100’.

All the four films produced by Ramesh Reddy so far were failures at box-office. The producer was upset that he has not tasted success so far in his career as a producer. He had also spoken about this during the press meets of ‘Gaalipata 2’ and hoped that he would win this time.

Ramesh Reddy’s expectations have finally come to reality. ‘Gaalipata 2’ was released to good opening at the box-office across Karnataka on the 12^th of August. The film managed to collect four plus crores on the first day and the first week collection is expected to be around 18 crores and the producer has got a share of 10 crores from the first week itself. With the first week share, Reddy has not only recovered the budget of the film, but is also in profits.

‘Gaalipata 2’ stars Ganesh, Diganth, ‘Lucia’ Pavan Kumar, Ananth Nag, Sharmila Mandre, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Nishvika Naidu, Rangayana Raghu and others in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Yogaraj Bhatt and the music is composed by magical composer Arjun Janya.
