Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest which film ‘Jailer’ which was released on the 10th of August has garnered more than 600 crores at the box-office and has been considered as a blockbuster. Meanwhile, the film is all set to stream on OTT.
The digital rights of ‘Jailer’ has been acquired by Amazon Prime and the film is all set to stream from the 07th of September worldwide.
‘Jailer’ tells the story of a retired jailer Tiger Muthuvel Pandiyan (portrayed by Rajinikanth), who goes on a manhunt to find his son’s killers. As he navigates the shadows of his son’s world, Muthuvel’s determination is put to the test, leading him through a complex and familiar path. Can he overcome his grief and emerge victorious in this pursuit of justice forms the crux of the film.
‘Jailer’ is Rajinikanth’s 169th film as an actor. The film is written and produced by Nelson Dilip Kumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures.
‘Jailer’ stars Rajinikanth, Tamannah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Vinayakan, Vasanth Ravi and others in prominent roles. The film also features special cameos from Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal, Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar and Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff. Aniruddh Ravichander is the music composer, while Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer.
Prime members in India and over 240 countries will be able to stream the action entertainer in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi from September 7th.
