Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ is all set to release on the 10th of August worldwide. Meanwhile, the film is all set to be dubbed in Kannada and released here simultaneously.
Initially, ‘Jailer’ was meant to release in Tamil and Telugu only. With Sandalwood actor Shivarajkumar also playing a guest yet prominent role in the film, now the makers have decided to release it in Kannada also. Shivarajkumar has already completed his work in the film and the film is now in the post-production stage.
Speaking his involvement in the film, ‘it was my long pending dream of acting with a stalwart like Rajinikanth. I have grown up watching him and his films and when I got a chance to act with him, I immediately said yes. I have a 10 minute role in the film and I have dubbed my dialogues for my portions’ said Shivarajkumar in a recent interview. The team had also wished Shivarajkumar through social media on his birthday.
‘Jailer’ is Rajinikanth’s 169th film as an actor. The actor plays the role of Muthuvel Pandian in the film. ‘Jailer’ is written and produced by Nelson Dilip Kumar and produced by Sun Pictures. ‘Jailer’ is a star studded film which features Rajinikanth, Shivarajkumar, Mohan Lal, Jackie Shroff, Tamannah Bhatia, Sunil, Ramya Krishna and others.
Recently, the title and making track of the film called ‘Kavalayya’ featuring Rajinikanth and Tamannah Bhatia has been released and the song has already become a huge chartbuster.
Aniruddh Ravichander has composed the music for the film, while Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer. The trailer is expected to be released soon.
