Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, the two great stalwarts of Indian film industry are all set to share screen space together for Thalaivar 170 being produced by Lyca Productions.

The two stars who had acted earlier together in films like ‘Andha Kanoon’, ‘Geraftaar’ and ‘Hum’ are joining hands together after 32 years. The last film which the actors acted together was Mukul Anand’s ‘Hum’ which was released in 1991.

Rajinikanth recently has completed the shooting for ‘Jailer’ and is currently busy with ‘Lal Salaam’. After the two films, he will be seen collaborating in Thalaivar 170, directed by ‘Jai Bhim’ fame T J Gnanavel.

Recently, Allrajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions celebrated his birthday and to mark the occasion, the production house made a statement that it will be associating with Rajanikanth for a new film. Now there is news that Amitabh Bachchan will also act alongside Rajinikanth in this film.

Aniruddh Ravichandar will be composing the music for the film. More details about the cost and crew are yet awaited.
