Sandalwood actors Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shruthi have come together for a new film called ‘13’. The film was launched recently in Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore.
Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shruthi had earlier acted in ‘Aasegobba Meesegobba’ which was released in 1990. The film was a remake of Hindi hit ‘Golmaal’. While, Raghavendra Rajkumar was seen as Shivarajkumar’s friend in the movie, Shruthi was seen as Shivarajkumar’s sister. Now both the actors are playing couple in the film.
‘13’ is a suspense thriller based on some real incidents. Normally, the number 13 is considered as unlucky in numerology. But the team says the title is very much apt for the film says director Narendra Babu.
The director who had earlier directed films like ‘Pallakki’, ‘Amruthavahini’ and others has scripted the film, apart from directing it. ‘The film is being based on a real incident. This is a suspense thriller film and the audience will be glued to their seats’ says Narendra Babu.
While, Raghavendra Rajkumar is seen in the role of Mohan Kumar, Shruthi is Sahira Begum in the film. Theirs is a love marriage and what happens in their life forms the crux of the film.
’13’ is being jointly produced by K Sampath Kumar, Manjunatha Gowda and H S Manjunath. Shogun Babu is the music composer, while Ajay Kumar Naik is the cinematographer. The team intends to shoot the film in Bangalore and Kottigehara and complete the film by June end.
