Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ which was supposed to release for Christmas this year has been preponed by one week. Now the film is all set to hit the screens on the 17th of December.
The release date of ‘Pushpa’ was announced a couple of months ago. However, in the last few weeks there was news that the release date of the film might get revised and ‘Pushpa’ might release one week earlier than the scheduled date.
Recently, Ranveer Singh starrer ‘83’ was also announced to release on the 24th of December. Though the exact reason for the preponement of ‘Pushpa’, it is being said that to avoid a probable clash in the box-office the film will be released one week earlier. Allu Arjun is making his debut in the PAN Indian arena and is looking forward for a big opening in North India. The makers didn’t want any clash and to avert such a clash, the film has been planned for an earlier release.
‘Pushpa: The Rise’ is an action thriller written and directed by Sukumar. The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film which is based on the Red Sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalseema region has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. ‘Pushpa’ is a PAN-Indian film and will be released in five languages. The film stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna and Dhananjay in prominent roles.
