There was a buzz that Samantha may act in a special number in Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’. Now the team has come forward and has announced that Samantha is indeed a part of the film and will be seen in a special number.

Recently, the team has announced that the 5^th song of ‘Pushpa’ is special and needed someone special and the team reached out to Samantha and she has gleefully agreed to come on board.

This is not only Samantha’s first screen appearance post divorce, but the first special song appearance of her career. She will be seen along with Allu Arjun in this song and the shooting is all set to start soon.

‘Pushpa: The Rise’ is an action thriller written and directed by Sukumar. The film is said to be based on the Red Sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalseema region. While, Allu Arjun plays the titular role of Pushpa Raj alias Pushpa, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjay, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others play prominent roles in the film.

‘Pushpa’ is a PAN-Indian film and will be released in four languages simultaneously. The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP has composed the music for the film.
