Producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah of Pushkar Films has turned hero with a new untitled film which has been launched at Kudremukha on Sunday. The regular shooting for the film starts from today.
Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah made his mark as a producer in Sandalwood through Rakshit Shetty’s ‘Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu’. The film was not only critically acclaimed, but also it went on to become a hit at the box-office. He joined hands with Rakshit to produce films like ‘Kirik Party’, ‘Avane Srimannarayana’ and others. He has produced films like ‘Ten’, ‘Avatar Purusha’ and others independently and is waiting for its release.
Meanwhile, there was news that the producer might turn hero and Pushkar was making suitable preparations for his debut as an actor. Finally, the day has come and Pushkar’s new film has been launched.
Pushkar says he plays an arrogant superstar in this film. However, due to skin allergy, the star opts for a cow therapy and what happens next forms the crux of the film. The shooting for the film will be held in Maala near Kuduremukha and in Bangalore.
The new film is being directed by debutante Aditya Gunavanthe, who had worked earlier for Bollywood films like ‘Kapoor and Sons’ and others. The shooting is expected to conclude by April.
More details about the film are yet awaited.
