Sandalwood actor and superstar Puneeth Rajkumar (46) who breathed his last on Friday due to a massive heart attack will be cremated on Sunday.

Puneeth will be cremated with full State Honours at the Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore. Puneeth’s father and mother, the late Dr Rajkumar and Parvathamma Rajkumar were also buried at the Kanteerava Studios and Puneeth’s body will be cremated next to his parents’ burial place.

Puneeth’s daughter Drithi, who is studying abroad, is expected to be back to Bangalore by Saturday evening. After the arrival of Puneeth’s daughter, the funeral will be conducted on Sunday. As of now, the mortal remains of the actor have been kept at the Kanteerava Stadium for public viewing.

Puneeth Rajkumar who worked out in gym on Friday morning complained of chest pain. He was immediately rushed to the Vikram Hospital, but sources say he was brought dead to the hospital.
